Driver Training Disclaimer
If you are looking for a basic state approved Teenage TEA driving school (under 18), that can aid in the issuing of a State of Texas driving PERMIT we recommend these fine local schools in Northwest Houston Texas:
Advance Driver Training IS NOT a TEA state approved BASIC TEEN driver training program, but rather an enhancement driving program that allows the customer to Advance well beyond the state’s minimum driver education course. The Advancedriver.com offers a truly professional alternative to the dangerous parent SELF-TAUGHT choice of the Teen in-car driving experience.
Following are the requirements necessary for enrollment in an Advance Driver Training course:
Anyone under the age of 18 MUST have completed a local, State Approved, basic driving program before enrolling with Advance Driver Training. .
Upon having reached the age of 18, you may enroll with Advance Driver Training; however, you must have passed the written exam administered by a State of Texas approved ADULT program school =(Cypress Driving School // Safety First Driving School)=and have received a learner’s permit issued from the State of Texas. Having done so, you may now legally drive / train with anyone 21 years of age or older in the front passenger seat. Upon completion of a reasonable training period, it will then be a requirement of the State of Texas that you be in-car skills tested on the road by an official with the Texas Department of Public Safety before receiving your C-class driver’s license.
. " ALL IN-CAR DRIVING TEST FOR TEXAS LICENSE IS ONLY DONE AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES "
