One on One In-Car Education Experience

  There are no distractions from other passengers, which some can find intimidating, so that the adult or teen driver can focus on the total instruction provided.As a result, the student can better focus while learning good driving habits.  In fact, much of what Advance does is teach the students how to stay focused on the mental process of driving at those times when they will invariably have passengers. We teach them to utilize driving technique and decision making strategies that are not taught in the basic Adult driver training programs. 

   
    Advance takes a mentoring approach to the students training; determine  their strengths and weaknesses, then give them the opportunity to learn in a way that is most effective.  Some of us are visual learners while others are audio learners and if the instructor doesn't understand the differences, the education process is not going to work.

   
    This can in effect make a huge difference in the overall effectiveness of the Advance course when we explain why it is so important to do it the Advance Driver way...Teaching is done at the individual’s own learning curve. It is possible that some basic drivers, with no previous experience, will take a longer time to cover and practice all that can be taught in the first basic program six (6) hours of drive time. That is where the supplemental drive times between sessions with the parent / spouse, or guardian can have an impact. ( pardon the pun ).

   
    That first basic 6 hour session is only focused on what the State of Texas requires to pass its basic skills test, including parallel parking, to receive a Texas C-class license. The issuance of the Texas C-class license is the First step in what should be an on-going education process to develop in to a mature skilled driver with professionally trained control techniques. This process does not happen by it's self..  Any additional Advance training needed can only begin after basic skills are demonstrated by passing that C-class ROAD test.    

   
    Just because you have received a state approved license does NOT mean you are a good driver. On the contrary, you are still a VERY un-skilled amateur.  With the Advance Adult Driver in-car training experience you can feel secure knowing you are now headed down the RIGHT  ROAD.
